Chris Rock to Host White BET Awards
January 17, 2016 – The Oscar nominations came out this week and the Academy was apparently straight outta black actors as all twenty acting nominations went yet again to caucasians. This year’s host, comic Chris Rock, was quick to call attention to the issue sending out the following tweet:

Soon after the nominations were released, #OscarsSoWhite was trending on Twitter.
“The 88th Academy Awards” airs Feb. 28 on ABC.
