Caitlyn Cartoon Causes Cantina Chaos

June 10, 2015 – Baltimore Mexican restaurant, Nacho Mama’s found itself in jalapeño-level fire over a recent Caitlyn cartoon on their menu. A sombrero-wearing mascot says in a speech bubble “I guess Caitlyn Jenner will be the only Kardashian on a magazine cover with clothes on …” Beneath that line, there’s a picture of Austin powers saying, “That’s a MAN, baby!” What this “joke” has to do with Mexican food is still unclear but the restaurant is now at the bottom of a seven-layer dip of controversy.
Although no apology was actually made, Nacho Mama’s released this statement via their Facebook page:
Thank you for reaching out to us, the comment on the top of our Specials Menu has been removed.
