Garry Shandling Remembered by Comedians
March 24, 2016 – The world of comedy lost one of its heroes today with the passing of Garry Shandling. The comics’ comic, known for his dry delivery, died today in Los Angeles following a massive heart attack at the age of 66. Shandling was a recurring guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” prior to his best known efforts, the sitcom parody “It’s Garry Shandling’s Show,” and late night talk show parody “The Larry Sanders Show.”
Comedians worldwide immediately took to Twitter to express their reactions to the loss.
RIP the great Garry Shandling. Surely, one of the most influential comedians of a generation.
