Jesse Eisenberg Compares Comic-Con to Genocide
July 14, 2015 – Jesse Eisenberg was a participant in this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con promoting Warner Bros.’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in which he plays the evil Lex Luthor. Some are wondering if he was still in character when talking to the Associated Press on Monday regarding his Comic-Con experience:
“It is like being screamed at by thousands of people. I don’t know what the experience is throughout history, probably some kind of genocide. I can’t think of anything that’s equivalent.”
His choice of words did not go over well and many fans have since called the actor out on his comment.
Ok Jesse Eisenberg, thanks for letting me know to avoid Comic Con so I don’t experience systematic mass murder due to my Ukrainian ethnicity
