May 5, 2015 – Saturday Night Live stepped up to the plate with host Scarlett Johansson to poke fun at April 29th’s match up between the Baltimore Orioles and the Chicago White Sox, which was closed to the public due to riot concerns. The Baltimore sportscast parody poked fun at the first game in Major League Baseball history to ever be played to an empty stadium.

In the sketch, riot police protected the only bat allowed in the stadium (“Provided by the good people at Nerf!”), and Johansson fled to Newark, “where I’ll be safer.”

So, was SNL’s Baltimore skit out of bounds, or did they knock it out of the park? VOTE NOW, and post your comments!
