Curt Schilling Did Nazi That Coming
- Funny

August 26, 2015 – ESPN analyst and former pitcher Curt Schilling has been suspended after tweeting a picture comparing Muslims to Nazis. Schilling’s tweet which has since been deleted read, “It’s said only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How’d that go?”
ESPN released the following statement:
“Curt’s tweet was completely unacceptable, and in no way represents our company’s perspective. We made that point very strongly to Curt and have removed him from his current Little League assignment pending further consideration.”
Backlash starting flowing in with Curt Schilling giving his mea culpas via Twitter, immediately admitting that posting the comment was a “dumb decision.”
@DrKnafa apologies, dumb ass decision on my part, can’t change it, apologize and move on
