Rachel Dolezal – Orange is the New Black

June 15, 2015 – The road to Hell is paved with good intentions and in the case of Rachel Dolezal, the road also appears to be paved with cornrows and a damned-fine spray tan. The purebred caucasian Dolezal has been passing herself off as a black woman since 2007 and was until today president of the Spokane, Washington, chapter of the NAACP – amid the media frenzy she tendered her resignation.

Rachel Dolezal is also an adjunct professor of Africana studies at Eastern Washington University. According to her staff biography, Dolezal received her master’s degree from Howard University, an historically black university in Washington, D.C. “Her passion for civil rights is influenced by her years in Mississippi, where she advocated for equal rights and participated in community development,” the bio states.
